| No good website would be complete without a few “endorsements”. You know the sort of thing – Mrs. M. of Eastbourne says: “I’ve been using your powder for ten years and my knickers have never been whiter”.
Seriously, most of or clients aren’t great letter writers, but recently I received two letters which brought me close to tears, so I had to put them here for all to see: they are a tribute to my staff and their enthusiasm, commitment and sheer hard work. Letters like these make everything worthwhile. They are humbling and they give me a great, warm glow! One or two of the Agencies with whom we work have been kind enough to say a few positive words about what we do, which you can find here. |

| This wonderful and heart-warming letter came from the mother of one of our clients (see story S on the Case Histories page):
Just a big thank-you for all you have done for S over the past twelve months. I don’t think without your help and support she would still be with us. I hope the start at ‘Cosgarne’ has really made her think what life is like on the other side. She now has a lovely home in Liskeard, where her children can visit her and very hopefully she can start to live a normal life. I know S will always have her problems with drink and her state of mind, which goes up and down like a yo-yo. I just hope that without your constant support, she will still cope. Things will be OK while everything is going well, but when problems arise I hope with all our support she can conquer them. I know that all the help she has had with the British Legion has been your doing and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Bless you for caring. I do hope that she and xxx will be able to let go and each get on with their lives. I know xxx has been very good to her but they really must both get on with their lives and put their families first. We as a family will try and support S all we can. We love her very much but your help and care has done more in one year than we have ever been able to do. I do hope that there will be support for her in Liskeard; she will need it, when the excitement of the new flat wears off. Once again thank you for all you’ve done. Yours very sincerely L. |
