Cosgarne - the Movie!! About eighteen months ago, two students at Falmouth College made a film about one of our clients, Ian McDonald, who came to Cosgarne Hall after living on the streets for several months following the failure of his marriage and his career in education, as a result of alcohol addiction. They called it “Redemption” and one of them has put it up on the internet. I hope it will give you an insight into what we do here. You can find it at http://vimeo.com/9085853 or if that doesn’t work, try www.vimeo.com/9085853 Since then, Ian has moved on into his own flat in St.Austell and is again living an independent life. He went back to the class-room to train as a counsellor and is now contributing to the Community in various different ways, just as he had done for many years before things went wrong for him. As well as being a Street Pastor in St. Austell and working for the Emmaus Project, he has become a Trustee of Cosgarne Hall and runs our Alcohol Counselling service, where he is an inspiration to many of our clients facing the same problems as he did.
